Default Bristle Worm

My wife noticed something strange sticking out of the bottom of one of ourr rocks and it ended up being a real big bristle worm's tail. We are certain that is exactly what it is. Now we need to pull it out and take it out of the tank. If they get way too big they can cause problems in the tank. I'll snap a pic of it once we get it out.

Must of came with the live rock for sure. It probably came small and grew throughout the days. When you buy live rock they usually have lots of tiny critters hiding in them.

We have never gone the live rock route yet, but I have read about them, guess they can come with all kinds of surprises, good luck.

Tons of critters came along with the live rock. Even a tiny shrimp colony which I mistook for being a litter from my sexy shrimp. Live rock is awesome..

Is it still there? Or were you able to get it out?

I was going to ask the same thing about how it got there. So you can buy rocks with beasties inside them? Kinda like a lucky dip for the aquarium then I guess.
